Two new spreads

Done using various coloured India ink pens, coloured pencils and paper collage.

  1. Just checking out your site- fun stuff, nice sketches- enjoyed it.

  2. I like the way you put your children´s work in yours. I love drawing together my kids, also.

  3. Hi Ea. I wonder if those balls are a Danish Tradition? I was given one as a child by Danish friends and it really had a lasting effect on me. Send my regards to Aarhus as well - I'd love to get back sometime soon.

  4. Rob Carey - thank you for commenting, I'm glad to know you enjoyed my art.

Beá Meira - thank you for your comment. I used the child-like drawing as a way to convey the "childhood" theme of this image. I drew that part myself, in the style I remember my brother using when we were little.

Stupot - I don't know whether they are Danish, or maybe just a design favoured by kindergartens here in the late 60's, early 70's? I had an aunt who made them for us, some of them with little bells inside that tinkled when you rolled the ball.
You've been to Århus? Well, you'll be seeing sketches from here on the Urban Sketchers blog soon enough - I believe you're on the team there as well? :)
