Commuter drawings from my sketchbook

Some drawings from my Moleskine sketchbook, done while waiting for and/or travelling on the bus.

All of these were drawn on location in sepia coloured ink. I use Pitt pens.

This drawing is done in my small Moleskine sketchbook - the original is 18 by 14 centimetres, so quite small. The coins in the drawing are contemporary Danish currency.

The drawing grew from an impromptu outing to three steep artificial hills, the result of many tons of surplus earth from a large construction project being heaped up around some small ponds. The (accurate) map, coins and bus ticket (lower left corner) are there to show the mundane everyday aspect also present in adventure - the way it is anchored in acts and objects we deal with all the time.
Drawn using black and sanguine India ink pens.

choice - time - trap

I finished another drawing in my little 9x14 cm Moleskine sketchbook. The drawing is about choices and their unseen consequences hidden in the temporal dimension.

Setting up my artlog

I'm setting up an artlog here on Blogger to share some of my drawings. For the time being it'll be in English, but I may intersperse with Danish posts from time to time - we'll see how active I am on here.
