Trying out a bit of graphite in the new sketchbook. The paper works well with the softer leads, but that also means the drawing smudges easily. I don't like to think about how many coats of fixer this will requite in order to not rub off on the opposing page...
I'm still getting quite a bit of blotching in the scan although I'm using a colour photo setting.
5B "thermo-bond" Apollo pencil in my new sketchbook journal. The text was done with a 4B Derwent Graphic which seemed quite a lot harder in the lead.
