Still struggling with the same cold. I went in to work for a couple of days, then had to go back to staying home - cabin fever is rearing its frazzled head!
Experimenting a bit with my watercolour sketchkit to pass the time - waterbrush with aquarelle (raw siena, cerulean, payne's grey, and a touch of red), and watercolour pencils (burnt ochre, cold grey V, light cobalt blue, and "medium flesh" - Albrecht Dürer, Faber-Castell).
That's a very nice self-portrait. I hope your painting distracts you from your cold symptoms. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteDrawing always helps distract from pain and illness, and I have a long string of self portraits from way back denoting colds - especially summer colds seem to inspire me to take this route. This way at least something good comes of those annoying afflictions!
