I went sketching with a few people today. We started at the train station, sketching in the waiting room. A guy in a purple suit and white make-up arrived at the same time as me - it turned out that the local cos-players had a meet-up today, so I began by sketching some of them.

One guy had a panda plushie on his head...
and there was a girl with knee-length turquoise pigtails.

This guy was patiently felting his dreadlocks - not an easy hair-do to manage in the slick, straight hair of most Scandinavians!

This little girl took a break on the bench with her dad.

And there were families busy getting the kids fed and watered before catching their train.
When everyone had arrived, and done a bit of warm-up sketching, we moved out into the beautiful spring sun. The rest of the day's sketching was done in
Rådhusparken - the small park next to City Hall.
These were all drawn in a sketchbook given to me by Marie Christine Compan at the festival in Clermont-Ferrand. I'll be using this as my sketchcrawl sketchbook.
